Didn’t take so many photos today as I wasn’t out and about adventuring, so here’s 4:

1. Despite the early starts, it’s a nice walk to the train station so it helps.
2. First job of the day was go buy birthday treats for one of the women who works there, top shopper me, although because the woman who’s birthday it was was at the showroom, I didn’t actually get any of it…
3. Spent most of the afternoon in my natural habitat, in front of a Mac on Photoshop
4. I was editing the Resort photos for Instagram, so the next 16 Resort pictures that go up on House of Holland’s Instagram will be by yours truly :’)

It’s still crazy that I’m working in London, kinda kept thinking to myself “you’re not in Huddersfield anymore” despite having been to London lots of times and living in Newcastle not Huddersfield nearly all the time anyway.
Such a commuter
HoH HQ! I made it!!
The bit I was working in had some great pictures up (I think mine would go great :P)
Went to the dry cleaners, took a lift selfie. It wasn’t Henry’s dry cleaning it was for the showroom.
I took a bus (A BUS, IN LONDON) to HoH’s showroom to take some pictures. Up close and personal with brand new HoH, not bad not bad.
Walking down to Liverpool Street Station to do a job, was so much in my own world I didn’t even notice the gherkin, so yeah, thats the gherkin
Got entrusted with the task of going to HoH’s press company in Kensington, felt swanky and breezed the tube liked I’d lived there for years. It’s them metros :P best bit was ringing the buzzer at the press place and saying “I’m here to pick up for House of Holland” :D
Kensington is POSH. Especially compared to Hackney/Shoreditch where I’d just been
Kensington freebies, mosturiser with gold in it, given to me by a man that told me to “stay gorgeous” …like it’s a choice. Clearly I am an exotic creature nobody up north has ever said owt like that to me.
Dashing around London with not much dinner really wears you out so I needed a pick-me-up, I was cool and grabbed a coke with Matt’s name on, I’ll never find my name, and I would like to share a coke with him.
The mysterious white bag! I’m looking after a HoH clutch overnight, I feel very trusted!

It’s been a properly brill first day and I’m super pleased :D I’m tired now, but I’m looking forward to tomorrow :D

Excitement has been replaced with nerves. I’m just anxious to get there, once I’m there I’ll be OK. I’m gonna ring Matt while I’m walking up in the hopes it will be like a pep talk and make me more confident.

Now all I hope is that I’m not actually sick.

Not having a hug is probably the hardest bit of not seeing Matt...

Not having a hug is probably the hardest bit of not seeing Matt for 3 weeks. All I want is a hug right now. All the good lucks and well wishes are great but nothing would beat just a really huge hug. It would be bloomin’ lovely.
