I think the Ice Bucket Challenge is a great campaign for raising awareness and money for Motor Neurone Disease and after knowing someone who recently lost her husband to it it definitely needs more awareness as well as donations. I hope people in the UK donate to the Motor Neurone Disease Association because the care available is not good enough and the knowledge about this disease is not enough so anyone diagnosed needs all the help there is. There is no cure, not even a way of slowing it down and its effects are awful.

“I am made for autumn. Summer and I have a fickle relationship, but everything about autumn is perfect to me. Wooly jumpers, Wellington boot, scarves, thin first, then thick, socks. The low slanting light, the crisp mornings, the chill in my fingers, those last warm sunny days before the rain and the wind. Her moody hues and subdued palate punctuated every now and again by a brilliant orange, scarlet or copper goodbye. She is my true love.”—A recipe for Rowan Jelly by Alys Fowler (via blurrymelancholy)
The fact large scale media would publish details about Robin Williams’ method of suicide is disgusting. I would think that even before working at Samaritans and reading their media guidelines which state methods should not be mentioned, but now I think it even more. Anyone in any frame of mind could read it, what are they even doing?!
